Fawkes Off Road Fabrications MiniMax Recovery Mount Review

In uncommon fashion, this review is not universal-to-all and applies solely to 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokees, otherwise known as WJs.  I own a 2001 that I refer to as “Dubya J”.  Awhile back, I started to prepare for the zombie apocalypse.  I added a 4″ suspension lift and dual steering stabilizer from BDS, 32″ BFG All Terrains, cold air intake system,  Flowmaster 50 exhaust with upgraded 3″ exhaust piping, Tom Woods front drive shaft, a new I-6 engine, and anything else that would help me survive and keep me amongst the living.  The one thing that I was missing was a front recovery system.  Then after months of searching, I came upon a thread in the Jeep forum with a picture of a MniMax Recovery Mount…it was love at first sight…I had to have it.

Rightline Gear Cargo Saddlebag Carback Carrier Review

Rightline Gear Cargo Saddlebag Carback Carrier Review

When hiking any great distance and more gear than your arms can carry, you turn to a backpack.  Backpacks aren’t just for hiking.  Heck, we use backpacks as soon as we start riding a school bus.  Everyone has owned a backpack at some point in time and probably still owns a backpack.  They’re great!  Carrying things on your head is a difficult task and I’m always amazed by the talent I see in National Geographic photographs.  Backpacks…that’s the way to go.

We were excited when we came across the concept of a carback carrier.  A carback carrier is essentially just a backpack for your car.  Brilliant right?  The immediate recognized benefit is that it won’t affect your gas mileage like a car top carrier would.  When we first saw the Rightline Gear Cargo Saddlebag we were confident that this product would be on our list of best new discovered products for the year.  That’s saying a lot because we were well into the year already so there were quite a few products/gear that had come before it.  Who wouldn’t think that though?  I mean, it is a backpack for a car…how cool is that?

G-Form iPad Extreme Sleeve Review

G-Form iPad Extreme Sleeve Review

I’ve been using the G-From iPad Extreme Sleeve for about a month and I can say that I would recommend it to others. I’m a photographer and I’ve been using it on location, at the office, and when meeting new clients.  So far, it’s done a good job of protecting my iPad 2.  Aesthetically, it has a pretty cool and different style and people are always asking where I got it. The smooth and soft texture of the Poron XRD is great– it has an easy to grip pattern.
